Privacy Policy
We set no cookies, sell no data and keep server logs for 14 days. What Cloudflare and our own analytics process, how we handle email and your GDPR rights.
This privacy policy covers personal data processed through bestlinkbuildingservices.co, run by Best Link Building Services ("we", "us"), based in Europe. We set no cookies. We run no accounts, forms, newsletters or ads, and we never sell personal data. No purchases happen on our site. What we do process is request data that Cloudflare and our web server handle to deliver the site, anonymous analytics on our own server, and the emails you send us.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller for this website is Best Link Building Services, based in Europe. Write to [email protected] about anything in this policy, or see our contact page. We answer privacy requests at that same address.
What happens when you visit our pages
Three things handle your visit: Cloudflare, our web server's logs and our own analytics. Each one processes a small set of data so the pages load, stay secure and tell us which parts are useful.
Cloudflare
Our pages reach you through Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site and processes your IP address and request data to do so. Cloudflare is a content delivery and security service. Cloudflare, Inc. is based in San Francisco, USA. It processes IP addresses, traffic routing data and other information about traffic to our site. Cloudflare says it will not sell or rent your personal information. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles that data.
Server logs
Our web server keeps access logs and error logs for 14 days, then deletes them. A log line holds the IP address, the browser's user agent, the page requested, the referring page, the time and the response status. We use these logs to keep the website running and secure and to fix errors.
Analytics
We measure visits with Umami, an analytics tool we host on our own server. Umami sets no cookies and does no cross-site tracking. Nothing is stored on your device, so there is no consent banner. Your IP address is used for a moment to work out your country and to compute an anonymous session identifier with a salt that changes every month. The IP address is not stored. Umami records page views, the referring page, browser and device type, and country.
Umami also records three on-page events:
- how far down the page you scrolled: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%
- how long the page was visible: 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes and 5 minutes
- which provider's website link you clicked
We use these records to see which pages are useful. Everything is first-party and goes through our own server, and no third-party script or file is loaded. The data stays on our server and is not shared or sold. The records hold no IP address and no cookie identifier.
Cookies
We set no cookies. Our pages load their fonts, styles, images and analytics script from our own domain, and no third-party script or file is loaded. That is why there is no cookie banner.
When you email us
When you email [email protected], we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message with any attachments. Cloudflare Email Routing delivers the message to our inbox. We use it to read and answer your message. We keep an email as long as we need it to answer you and deal with what you wrote about, then delete it.
Why we use your data
We rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Those interests are delivering and protecting the website, understanding which pages people find useful, and answering messages. We make no automated decisions about visitors and build no visitor profiles.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the services that run the website and our email: Cloudflare, for delivery, security and email routing, and the email service that holds our inbox. Our analytics data stays on our server and is not shared. We never sell or rent personal data, and we show no ads. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.
Transfers outside Europe
Cloudflare is a US company and may process request data outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare says it primarily stores information in the United States and the European Economic Area, and for transfers from the EEA to the US relies on its EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification, with standard contractual clauses as the fallback. Our analytics data stays on our own server.
Your rights under the GDPR
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Send requests to [email protected]. We answer within one month. You can also complain to a data protection authority, in the EU or EEA country where you live, work or where the issue happened. See the list of data protection authorities.
Links to provider websites
Our pages link to link building providers and to sources, and those sites have their own privacy policies. What a provider's site collects once you are there is covered by that provider's own policy. We do not control those sites.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we handle data, we publish the updated policy at the same address with a new effective date. Our terms of use sit alongside this policy. This policy takes effect on November 8, 2026.
